Greetings to REACH
On a regular basis ,since 2006 ,we have been providing DOTS treatment for TB patients .The treatment period ranges from 6 to 8 months ,according to the patients condition .Among 125 patients ,at least 100 patients of them have been cured .Patients are made to realize the importance of taking the tablets on the scheduled days without delay .Our chief ,Dr .Nargunam , M.D.,has given us the responsibility of being DOT providers for the patients .This opportunity has gained me a lot of love and respect among the TB patients .
I am proud of REACH for the services they provide by facilitating the government TB drug box to reach patients .I also bow down to their tireless services .

I was a DOT provider for a patient called Ramachandran .He adhered to treatment by following the doctor’s advice and taking the tablets from me on the scheduled days ,under direct observation .He has completed the full course of treatment for 6 months and has been cured .Ramachandran is very happy that he is a healthy man again ,his joy in turn makes me feel happy .At present I continue to be a DOT provider for 2 patients .This service that I am rendering gives me a lot of satisfaction .I am willing to do the same for more TB patients through REACH .
