We lose 3 people every 2 minutes to TB in this country.
Our challenge is to make accurate information available to people, to help connect them to services and improve their knowledge and understanding of TB, thereby preventing these deaths.
We believe in the power of the media to help achieve this. And we believe in the power of films. A well-made, sensitive and accurate film has the potential to not just inform a viewer, but also change her/his attitude towards an issue.
We are therefore delighted to announce TB Tales, the first ever short film competition on tuberculosis. This competition is open to filmmakers from across India including professionals, amateurs and film students.

Suriya, Actor
Gautham Menon, Film director
